I’m Vanessa – a Pembrokeshire based copywriter and email marketer.

I started copywriting while living in London (my 7-year stint) as a Marketing Manager in events for the Hemming Group, a big B2B publishing and events company.
Planning and creating email campaigns, with high targets to meet and 1000s of delegates and subscribers to bring in. I quickly learned how to build a strong campaign, use data strategically, and craft personable and action-enticing content.
I’ve also worked in many client and customer-facing roles in tourism, recruitment, fashion, publishing, and some interesting small businesses.
I keep it real and always put the customer at the heart of my copy.
Now freelancing, I work with all types of business in Wales and beyond, helping out on a range of projects from small writing jobs to big marketing campaigns.

I’m a member of Kate Toon’s Digital Marketing Collective – a thriving business community. I train with the best and get the latest insights from many talented marketers and business owners.
I gained valuable skills in my 4-year B2B marketing role. Including project management, data management, copywriting, event marketing, and planning email campaigns.
I’ve also trained in copywriting and marketing with Hemsley Fraser and the London College of Media and Publishing.
