Marketing today and how I work.

It’s an ambiguous term.

To most (including myself until I worked in marketing) when you hear the term you might think of a Facebook ad, a promotional email, a sales letter, maybe an event. That’s just a small part of it.

Marketing is everything to do with your business.

Whether you’re a sole trader or large company, it’s about going back to your roots and starting with the basics.

Defining what your business means to you, what you can offer your customer, having a plan, building a brand, knowing your customers’ needs and restrictions, offering excellent customer service, and bringing everything together to make it run smoothly.

It’s an ongoing process.

There’s a pile of definitions out there, but for me it’s about doing a lot of listening, carrying out research, talking to customers, thinking about alternative options, and making sure everything is thought out.

What I do.

Writing is what I do. For online content and in print.

I take great care in tailoring content for you. I draw from my experience of working in various job roles.

Over the years I’ve worked on the front line helping customers in small businesses and big brands, in administration roles in various companies, in a B2B marketing role promoting events and publications, and on a range of freelance jobs helping small businesses compete in today’s marketing world.

Being creative and trying out new ideas is important to me, but I don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. It’s about doing what’s right for the customer.

SEO and working to compete online is a huge part of today’s marketing. I keep up to speed with the latest SEO techniques and I experiment with different methods.

I like a challenge. I’ll take a fresh look at your business and will take my time to get to know you, whether you’re a sole trader or a larger company.

I am a freelance copywriter in Pembrokeshire.

If you would like some help with your marketing please do get in touch.

I’ll look forward to hearing you.
